N.C. Community Foundation promotes Gray

RALEIGH, N.C. - The North Carolina Community Foundation has promoted Carrie Gray to the new position of director of donor engagement.

In her new job, Gray will focus on expanding donor relations, community grant making and philanthropic services.

She also will work with the foundation's 59 affiliate foundations across the state to strengthen the relationship between donors and the nonprofit community.

Previously, Gray oversaw the foundation's programs encouraging philanthropy and collective giving among youth and women, including the Women's Fund, an endowment dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls.

The North Carolina Community Foundation, based in Raleigh, manages 1,000 funds totaling more than $120 million in assets and provides support for a variety of scholarship programs, nonprofits and other charitable needs in more than 65 counties.
