Raleigh nonprofits offered grant help

RALEIGH, N.C. - In an effort to boost the local nonprofit sector, the City of Raleigh is offering Raleigh-based nonprofits free access to a searchable database of grant opportunities.

The city will provide sub-accounts for qualified nonprofits to the eCivis online grant locator, which provides information about federal, foundation and state grants.

To qualify, groups must be tax-exempt organizations with headquarters located within the city limits of Raleigh, and provide resources and services to the local community.

To request an application, call Diane Smith at 919.996.3070 or email diane.smith@ci.raleigh.nc.us.
